The Frostrune is a graphic adventure similar to classics like Mist or Raven, in which you can live a Viking legend in first person, and even affect the course of the story with the decisions you make along the way.
The game begins with your character waking up on the shore after a shipwreck. You don't know who you are, where you come from, or what happened to you, and it's up to you to reconstruct the pieces of your story. To do so, you'll have to interact with all the items in the different scenes in the game. Sometimes you'll have to collect items to open doors or treasure chests with more information inside, while other times you'll have to solve riddles and simple puzzles to open more doors to your past. Not only that, but you'll soon get missions from the Nordic gods, who guide you through the adventure.
With well-designed -and absolutely beautiful- graphics, The Frostrune immersed users in nordic mythology. Not only that, but its storyline stays true to even the smallest details, with subtitled conversations in Nordic, real inscriptions, and historical elements. Overall, it's a magnificent free game that you're sure to enjoy immensely.

Really, it's an amazing game but it's too short, you get excited and suddenly it ends. I wish they would add more levels to it. I've played it several times.
